The Costa Rica Program (‘Projecto San Gerado’) has now been terminated.  Spanning some 10 years it covered areas of education, environment, local income generation and community development focused on a poor rural and under-serviced mountainous area.   It achieved its goal in this time in assisting in raising standards of living in a number of areas and set a much improved basis for the area to continue to go forwards.  Good connections to Rose Charities remain should further needs be targeted in the future.

The Projecto San Gerado program hosted the Rose Charities International Conference in 2015 where Rose Charities International delegates were able to witness the excellent works of Projecto San Gerado
